 oh my god. started a short little fic and couldn’t seem to get in the zone so i quit for the time being. i’ve been drawing things that still look fine but aren’t any fun to make. i thought maybe i’d focus on other creative hobbies for awhile. i havent crocheted in months maybe that, you know? play some games and stuff too. and then! my laptop just totally bit the dust. and christmas is right around the corner so hopefully ill be able to afford a new one soon but god. i’m trying to type this on my ipad right now and have corrected so many typos already and autocorrect is on i dont even know why it never works. and my phone isnt much better, i’ve had it for quite a long time and it’s borderline not functional anymore so my parents are already talking about upgrading that soon too and im so grateful but idk. very discouraged considering if i happen to want to write soon, it’ll be a bit of an unbearable process. maybe ill take up writing in notebooks again like i did in middle school. could be fun. 

i think creative block might really kill me like. not really obviously and its not the biggest issue in the world, logically. but ugh i dont know who i am outside of my creative pursuits i fear !! theyve been intrinsic pieces of who i am for forever…. maybe im going about this the wrong way and i dont need to get better, i need to get worse and write a lotof vent fics. probably not. 

also please ignore the punctuation in this post i cannot put those apostrophes in there im so tired right now. ugh.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your laptop! I hope you can replace it soon. I can vouch for notebook writing though, it has gotten me past so much writer's block. Fancy notebook + nice pen + hot tea (or hot beverage of choice). And then when you do finally get to type it up it feels like a much bigger accomplishment because the words are easier to type...

Creative block sucks so much but you'll get through this!! I feel that though...it's so so hard when it just gets stuck but I hope it will come back for you soon. (And hey, nothing wrong with vent fics if they work!)
